Sajugazer is committed to respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed this service with a privacy-first approach: all Saju chart calculations run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript, and we do not require any form of registration, login, or account creation to use our services.

Operator: Sajugazer is operated by an independent developer based in the Republic of Korea. This service is offered in English and is accessible to a global audience.

Information We Collect

Sajugazer does not collect or store personal birth data on any server. All birth date, birth time, gender, and geographic location inputs you provide are processed locally in your browser for the sole purpose of generating your Saju (Four Pillars of Destiny) chart. This data is never transmitted to us or to any third party. We have no server-side database, no user accounts, and no mechanism to access the data you enter.

When you visit our site, standard web server log data may be automatically collected by our hosting provider (Cloudflare). This may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. This information is collected and managed by the hosting provider and is used solely for maintaining site security and understanding aggregate traffic patterns. Sajugazer does not independently collect, process, or store this server log data.

Cookies & Local Storage

This website uses browser local storage for site functionality and advertising. When you first visit, a cookie consent banner allows you to Accept All, Reject All, or open Cookie Settings to customize your preferences by category. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the page footer.

We use two categories of storage:

Essential (Always Active): Required for core site functionality. This includes your cookie consent preference ("cookieConsent") and chart input data ("sajuBirthData") — your birth date, birth time, gender, longitude, and reference longitude — saved in your browser's local storage so your chart data persists as you navigate between analysis pages (Total, Daily, Monthly, Yearly, Decade). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server. Essential storage cannot be disabled.

Personalized advertising will not be displayed on this site without your prior, explicit consent to advertising cookies. If you have not actively accepted the Advertising & Analytics category, all advertising operates in a non-personalized, consent-denied state and no advertising cookies are set.

Advertising & Analytics (Optional): This site uses Google AdSense for advertising and Google Analytics 4 (GA4, Measurement ID: G-JFRH68ZBY7) for anonymous traffic analysis. If you enable this category, Google AdSense may set cookies and use tracking technologies to serve personalized ads, and GA4 will set first-party analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_G-JFRH68ZBY7) with a 2-year retention period to measure page views, sessions, and usage patterns. If you disable this category or click "Reject All," both AdSense and GA4 operate in a consent-denied state — no advertising or analytics cookies are stored, no user data is collected, and no personalized ads are served. You can also opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or by using the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool. Google's cookie and data practices are governed by Google's Advertising Policies and Google's Privacy Policy.

How We Use Your Information

The birth data you enter is used exclusively and solely for client-side Saju chart computation and interpretation within your own browser. We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties. We have no access to the data you input. Aggregate, non-identifying statistical data from hosting provider logs may be used to understand general traffic patterns and improve the overall user experience of the site.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information associated with your use of Sajugazer. Because all Saju calculations are performed entirely on the client side within your browser, sensitive birth data never leaves your device and is not exposed to network transmission risks. Our site is served over HTTPS to encrypt all communication between your browser and our hosting provider. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data stored in your browser's local storage, particularly on shared or compromised devices.

Third-Party Services

Sajugazer integrates the following third-party services:

Google AdSense — This site uses Google AdSense (Publisher ID: ca-pub-1718960686183338) for advertising. Personalized ads are never served without your prior, explicit consent. Until you actively accept the Advertising & Analytics cookie category, AdSense operates in a consent-denied state: no advertising cookies are stored, no user data is collected for ad targeting, and no personalized ads are displayed. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to your website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet. AdSense and its partners use cookies and web beacons to serve ads personalized to your interests, based on your activity on this and other sites. This includes the use of DoubleClick cookies, which Google uses to improve ad targeting across its advertising network. For more information, see Google's Advertising Policies. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — This site uses Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-JFRH68ZBY7) to collect anonymized statistics about site traffic, page views, and user interactions. GA4 sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_G-JFRH68ZBY7) only when you have enabled the Advertising & Analytics category. All analytics data is processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of GA4 tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google Tag Manager (GTM) — This site uses Google Tag Manager (Container ID: GTM-WTK5HZZM) to manage and deploy the tracking scripts described above. GTM itself does not collect personal data; it acts as a container to coordinate the loading of other tags (such as GA4 and AdSense) in accordance with your consent preferences. GTM operates under Google's Privacy Policy.

Cloudflare Pages — This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (deployed from a GitHub repository). Standard server log data (IP address, browser type, referring page, visit timestamp) may be collected by Cloudflare. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Google Forms — Our contact page uses a form hosted by Google Forms. Submissions are processed by Google per Google's Privacy Policy. We receive only the information you voluntarily submit. No additional data is collected by Sajugazer.

We do not operate any server-side user tracking or data collection platform beyond the third-party services listed above.

Your Data Rights

Since all personal data (birth date, time, gender, and location) is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage and is never transmitted to any server, you have full control over your data at all times. To permanently remove all stored information, simply clear your browser's local storage or cache for the sajugazer.com domain. You can do this through your browser's settings or developer tools. Once cleared, no trace of your input data remains anywhere.

Your Rights Under GDPR (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grants you specific rights regarding your personal data. While Sajugazer does not collect or store personal birth data on any server, certain data (such as IP addresses, device identifiers, and anonymized usage metrics) may be processed by our third-party services — namely Cloudflare Pages (hosting), Google AdSense (advertising), Google Analytics 4 (analytics), and Google Tag Manager (tag management). With respect to such data, you hold the following rights:

Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR): You may request confirmation of whether personal data about you is being processed and, if so, obtain a copy of that data along with information about how it is used.

Right to Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You may request correction of inaccurate personal data or completion of incomplete personal data held about you.

Right to Erasure / Right to be Forgotten (Art. 17 GDPR): Under certain conditions, you may request the deletion of personal data held about you. Birth data you enter into Sajugazer is stored only in your own browser's local storage and can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser cache for this domain.

Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR): You may object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes or where processing is based on legitimate interests. You may also opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings.

Right to Restrict Processing (Art. 18 GDPR): Under certain conditions, you may request that we limit how your personal data is processed.

Right to Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR): Where processing is based on consent and carried out by automated means, you may request to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

Because data collected in connection with our site is primarily processed by third-party platforms (Cloudflare and Google), we recommend directing GDPR-related access or deletion requests to those platforms directly using the links provided in the Third-Party Services section above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

Children's Privacy

Sajugazer is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since our service does not require registration and does not transmit any user-entered data to a server, the risk of inadvertent data collection from minors is minimal. If you believe a child has used our service in a way that raises privacy concerns, please contact us so we can provide guidance.

Shared & Public Devices

If you access Sajugazer from a shared, public, or borrowed device, we recommend clearing your browser's local storage and cache after use to remove any stored chart input data. This ensures that the next person using the device cannot view your previously entered birth information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the addition of new features, or applicable regulations. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date at the top of the policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy.
