By accessing and using Sajugazer ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sajugazer regarding your use of the website located at sajugazer.com and all associated content and services.
Description of Service
Sajugazer provides a free, browser-based Saju (Four Pillars of Destiny) chart calculation and analysis service. The Service allows users to generate a personalized Saju chart by entering their birth date, birth time, gender, and geographic location. Based on this input, the Service computes Four Pillars data and provides structured interpretations across multiple dimensions, including Total Analysis, Daily Analysis, Monthly Analysis, Yearly Analysis, and Decade Analysis.
Additionally, the Service offers educational articles about Saju philosophy, concepts such as the Ten Stars (Sipseong), Fateful Stars (Sinsal), and the 12 Stages of Energy (Unseong), as well as an AI-ready prompt copy feature that allows users to export their chart data for use with external AI assistants. All computations are performed locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript. We do not require user registration, do not maintain user accounts, and do not collect or store personal birth data on any server.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By using Sajugazer, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian before using the Service. If we learn that a user under 13 has accessed the Service in violation of this provision, we reserve the right to take appropriate measures as permitted by law.
Nature of Content & Disclaimer
The Saju analysis, fortune readings, and interpretive content provided by this Service are intended solely for self-reflection, educational, and entertainment purposes. They are rooted in traditional East Asian philosophical frameworks and should be understood as cultural and humanistic commentary, not as scientific fact or professional advice.
Sajugazer is not a substitute for professional guidance in areas including, but not limited to, medical diagnosis, financial planning, legal counsel, or psychological treatment. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or applicability of any chart calculation or interpretation. All decisions made based on information obtained from this Service are made at your own discretion and remain entirely your own responsibility.
Permitted Use
You agree to use Sajugazer only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You may not use this Service to: (a) violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation; (b) attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the normal operation of the website or its infrastructure; (c) scrape, crawl, or extract data from the site by automated means (including bots, spiders, or scrapers) without prior written permission; (d) misrepresent the source or origin of any content, analysis, or interpretation obtained from this Service; or (e) use the Service to generate content that is harmful, misleading, defamatory, or that infringes upon the rights of others.
Intellectual Property
All interpretation content, educational article text, design elements, user interface layouts, and visual assets on Sajugazer are the intellectual property of Sajugazer and are protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without prior written permission from Sajugazer.
The underlying Saju chart calculation logic is released under the MIT License, allowing free use, modification, and distribution of the computational code. This open-source license applies exclusively to the calculation engine and does not extend to the interpretive content, article text, visual design, or any other proprietary materials on the site.
User-Generated Output
When you use Sajugazer to generate a chart and its associated interpretations, the resulting output is generated dynamically based on your input data and our proprietary interpretation algorithms. You are free to use your personal chart results for private, non-commercial purposes, including copying the AI-ready prompt for personal use with external AI services. However, you may not republish, redistribute, or commercially exploit the generated interpretation text as if it were your own original content.
Third-Party Services
Sajugazer integrates third-party services for hosting, analytics, advertising, tag management, and user communication. These include: Cloudflare Pages (site hosting, deployed from a GitHub repository), Google AdSense (advertising, Publisher ID: ca-pub-1718960686183338), Google Analytics 4 (traffic analytics, Measurement ID: G-JFRH68ZBY7), Google Tag Manager (tag management, Container ID: GTM-WTK5HZZM), and Google Forms (contact form). Each of these services operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy, independent of Sajugazer's Terms. Analytics and advertising scripts only activate according to the cookie preferences you set via our consent banner. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or policies of any third-party service. By using Sajugazer, you acknowledge that third-party services may be present on the site and agree to review their respective terms independently.
Limitation of Liability
Sajugazer is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sajugazer and its operators shall not be held liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to discontinue your use of it.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sajugazer, its operators, contributors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Sajugazer is operated by an independent developer based in the Republic of Korea. If you access this Service from outside Korea, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your applicable local laws.
Any disputes arising from the use of this Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal remedies. Both parties agree to attempt informal resolution for a period of at least 30 days before initiating any formal proceedings.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time at our sole discretion. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically to stay informed of any updates.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
