In classical Myeongrihak (命理學), a full chart reading begins with the Day Master (Ilgan) — the Heavenly Stem of your Day Pillar, which represents your core self. From this central reference point, every other character in your chart is evaluated through the Ten Stars (Sipseong) framework: a relational system that classifies each element as a Friend, Competitor, Resource, Output, or Wealth star relative to your Day Master.
